The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce Supports Passage of Conroe ISD Bond 2023
(The Woodlands, TX) - Today, The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce continued to encourage voters to pass Conroe ISD Bond 2023.
Supporting Bond 2023 fulfills the Chamber’s advocacy priority to “promote, expand, and finance primary and secondary education initiatives that provide a safe learning environment and support the development of a skilled workforce.” To that end, the Chamber’s Business Advocacy Council and Board of Directors passed a resolution in favor of Bond 2023 earlier this year. JJ Hollie, President & CEO of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce made the following statement:
With Early Voting in full swing and Election Day next week, we wanted to stress the importance of passing the School Bond. Our amazing schools are one of the main reasons people come to live and work in The Woodlands. As a community, we are at an inflection point where we are growing and thriving and we need our schools to keep pace, growing and thriving to meet our future needs. Great schools attract top businesses and professionals. Let’s ensure our schools continue to do just that.
As a participant in the planning process, I know how much research, thought and community input went into crafting the Bond. Voters can be confident this Bond is the best way forward for taxpayers, property owners, businesses, educators and, most importantly, students.”
